This strategic alliance will enable Smart Box to offer Control Bionics groundbreaking NeuroNode® device in the United Kingdom and Ireland. The NeuroNode® technology is tailored to assist individuals with conditions such as Motor Neurone Disease and cerebral palsy, as well as other neurological disorders that impact communication and motor function.
The commercial terms of this collaboration are confidential, signifying Control Bionics' commitment to expanding its NeuroNode® Only business. Notably, in the UK and Ireland, approximately 1,200 individuals are diagnosed with MND annually, while up to 2,000 are diagnosed with cerebral palsy each year. The exclusive agreement with Smart Box represents a significant milestone in its mission to empower individuals with severe disabilities by providing innovative technology to facilitate communication and restore control over their lives.
