Commonwealth Bank announced Q3 FY2022 results

Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX: CBA) has released its Q3 FY2022 for the quarter ended 31 March 2022. Q3 FY2022 quarter underlined the disciplined execution of the Group’s strategy. The Company concentrated on core banking franchises, which delivered constant volume growth, sound portfolio credit quality along with constant support for its customers & communities.

Financial Highlights:

  • Unaudited Statutory NPAT during the quarter was AU$2.3 billion.
  • Unaudited Cash NPAT was ~AU$2.4 billion.
  • Operating performance remained flat compared to the previous corresponding period and up 2% higher than Q3 FY2022.
  • Loan impairment expense remained low during the quarter.
  • CBA maintained a strong balance sheet.
  • CET1 ratio of 11.1%, with AU$3 billion in 1H FY2022 interim dividend payments to over 870,000 shareholders in the quarter.
