Coles Group announced the appointment of Leah Weckert as Managing Director and CEO

Coles Group Limited (ASX: COL) stated that Leah Weckert had been appointed as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, effective from May 01, 2023, after Steven Cain's retirement.

Ms. Weckert has served as Chief Executive of Commercial and Express, Chief Financial Officer, People, and Culture Director, and State General Manager of Victorian Supermarkets over the period since 2018. Since Coles' separation from the Wesfarmers Group in 2018, she was also a senior member of the Executive Leadership Team. Ms. Weckert graduated from Adelaide University with degrees in Engineering and Science and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard University. Ms. Weckert has previously held positions at McKinsey & Company and Foster's Group.
