Market Alert: ASX200 at Critical Support – Reversal or Further Fall?
Camplify Holdings Limited (ASX: CHL) reported audited results for H1FY25, with a Gross Transaction Value of AU$65.35 million, down 26.9% from the prior corresponding period and revenue of AU$19.95 million, reflecting a 17.8% decline. The revenue drop was driven by an AU$1.9 million reduction in TAP bookings in Australia, an AU$1.5 million impact from PaulCamper trade issues in Europe, and the cessation of van sales operations, reducing revenue by AU$1.8 million.
The company recorded a statutory loss of AU$ 7.1 million after tax and an EBITDA loss of AU$ 6.81 million. Increased marketing expenses (27% of revenue) and employee benefits (42% of revenue) impacted costs. Despite challenges, CHL saw strong market growth in the UK (23.4%), Spain (57.9%), and New Zealand (21.7%). The company is focused on improving efficiency through AI-driven ticket resolution and conversion enhancements while preparing to launch a new member-based insurance solution in Q4FY25. CHL enters H2FY25 with reduced operational costs, improved technology, and a stronger market position, aiming for profitability in the second half of the fiscal year.
