Chalice Mining Limited has provided an update on the exploration activities its 100%-owned Julimar Nickel-Copper-Platinum Group Element (PGE) Project, located around 70 km north-east of Perth in Western Australia.
From the initial diamond drilling at the greenfield Dampier Target, the Company obtaied new visual results from preliminary diamond drilling at the greenfield Dampier Target, which is situated approx. 10km north of the Gonneville Deposit, at the Julimar Ni-Cu-PGE Project in WA.
Approximate 15 metres to 80 metres wide zone of disseminated sulphides (avg. 1-3% sulphide), with locally rich matrix sulphides (up to 20-30% sulphide), intersected in ultramafic-mafic intrusive rocks (pyroxenite, lesser gabbro/peridotite) in three wide-spaced holes (HD009, 010 & HD013).
The zone has been intersected across a strike length of around 350 metres and over ~250 metres of dip extent and remains open in all directions. The drilling will continue to test for strike as well as dip extensions under current approvals.
