Centrex Limited entered into an agreement with Aurizon Holdings Limited

Feb 10, 2023

Centrex Limited (ASX: CXM) announced that it has entered into a binding agreement via its 100% owned subsidiary Agriflex Pty Ltd, with Australia’s largest rail freight operator Aurizon Holdings Limited for the facility of transport, storage, and stevedoring services for Ardmore’s phosphate rock product. As per the agreement, Aurizon has been selected as the only and principally exclusive supplier for the containerised logistics solution from the Ardmore mine to Townsville port.

This agreement is a primary step towards a longer-term and more cost-efficient bulk logistics solution that is being progressed simultaneously. Aurizon will obtain additional containers, truck and truck drivers, locomotives, wagons, and rail access to meet Ardmore’s requirements during the ramp-up period.
