Centrepoint Alliance to Acquire Brighter Super’s Comprehensive Advice Book in Strategic Expansion

Centrepoint Alliance Limited (ASX: CAF) has announced a strategic agreement to acquire the comprehensive advice review book from Brighter Super’s subsidiary, ESI Financial Services Pty Ltd. This move will strengthen Centrepoint’s capacity to deliver high-quality financial advice across a broader client base. The acquisition involves up to 400 transitioning customers, potentially generating around AU$1 million in annual revenue. Centrepoint’s wholly owned advice firm, Financial Advice Matters (FAM), will lead the client transition and service delivery, drawing on its existing expertise managing AU$1 billion in funds under advice. The deal structure ensures payment is based on 1.25x the revenue from transitioned clients by 16 May 2025. Centrepoint may also employ selected Brighter Super advisers, while FAM enters a 3-year referral agreement with Brighter Super. This acquisition reflects Centrepoint’s commitment to expanding its footprint in the financial advice sector and enhancing support for super fund members.
