Cedar Woods Expands Development Pipeline with Strategic Land Acquisitions
Cedar Woods Properties Limited (ASX: CWP) has strengthened its medium-term growth pipeline through the acquisition of several development sites across Queensland and Victoria. The company secured a townhouse project in Kealba, Victoria, expected to deliver around 200 lots, an apartment development site in Fairfield, Queensland, with potential for more than 500 apartments, and additional land in South Maclean, Queensland, adding approximately 47 lots to its existing Flourish community project. The company is also advancing two potential land acquisitions in Western Australia, subject to due diligence and negotiations.
Despite softer enquiry and sales activity during the fourth quarter due to limited stock availability and weaker consumer sentiment, Cedar Woods highlighted that Australia’s ongoing housing shortage continues to support long-term demand. The company reported strong operational performance, with all sales and construction milestones for FY26 settlement stages completed, more than 80% of forecast FY27 revenue already presold, and presales exceeding AU$788 million as of 31 March 2026. Supported by a strong balance sheet and low gearing, Cedar Woods remains on track to achieve the upper end of its FY26 earnings guidance and expects further profit growth in FY27.
