Cavalier Resources Secures Strategic Funding to Advance Crawford Gold Project
Cavalier Resources Limited (ASX: CVR) has secured binding financing agreements to support the development of its wholly owned Crawford Gold Project in Western Australia. The funding package includes a US$13 million Gold Prepayment Facility and an AU$5 million Gold Loan Facility, providing approximately AU$23 million in project debt. The capital will be used for site establishment, procurement of long-lead equipment, project construction, and working capital as the project progresses toward production. The financing model has been structured to reduce shareholder dilution by relying on project debt instead of significant equity raising, with repayments linked to future gold production and project cash flows. Both facilities remain subject to final legal documentation, due diligence, regulatory approvals, and other customary conditions before financial close. The company believes this funding milestone strengthens its development strategy and positions the Crawford Gold Project for its next phase of construction and operational advancement.
