Canterbury Resources Limited: High-Grade Copper Confirmed at Briggs Copper Project

Canterbury Resources Limited (ASX: CBY) share an update on its 2024 drilling program at the Briggs Copper Project in Queensland. The project has already defined over one million tons of contained copper, and the ongoing 2024 drilling program is producing exceptional assay results at the large-scale Briggs copper-molybdenum project in Central Queensland. The current drilling efforts are focused on discovering near-surface, high-grade copper mineralization in a zone straddling the contact between the felsic intrusive complex and the hosting volcanic sediments along the southwest margins of the Briggs Central inferred resource. The goal is to identify potential areas for higher-grade starter pit operations for a conceptual mining operation.

Furthermore, its drilling targets an upgrade in resource confidence sufficient to support initiating a Scoping Study later this year. Briggs' progress is successfully delineating broad zones of shallow, high-grade mineralization that represent opportunities to maximize copper production and minimize costs during the early years of a conceptual mining operation.
