Brookside Energy Commences Drilling of Ninth Well in SWISH Play

Brookside Energy Limited (ASX: BRK) (OTC Pink: RDFEF) has commenced drilling its ninth well, Bruins 2-11-1S-3W WXH1 (Bruins Well), in the SWISH Play, Anadarko Basin, Oklahoma. This follows the successful completion of the company’s four-well Full Field Development Program (FMDP) last year. Preparatory steps included staking the well, setting a 20” conductor, and mobilizing field offices. Kenai Rig 19 has been positioned, and rig-up and testing operations are underway. Current activities include testing blowout prevention equipment, drilling to the surface casing point, and cementing the surface casing. Next steps involve drilling out the surface casing and commencing the 12.25” vertical section. Managing Director David Prentice expressed enthusiasm for the project, commending the team’s efforts despite challenging weather conditions.
