BrainChip Wins US$1.8 Million Contract with Air Force Research Laboratory.

BrainChip Holdings Ltd (ASX: BRN), a leader in neuromorphic AI technology, has secured a US$1.8 million contract under the U.S. Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program. The project, titled “Mapping Complex Sensor Signal Processing Algorithms onto Neuromorphic Chips,” aims to advance radar signal processing using BrainChip's proprietary Temporal Event Neural Network (TENNs) framework optimized for Akida 2.0 hardware. This technology offers enhanced efficiency, ultra-low power consumption, and superior performance compared to traditional accelerators.

The project focuses on micro-Doppler signature analysis for improved activity discrimination in military and aerospace applications. BrainChip will collaborate with a subcontractor, receiving US$800,000 to develop and optimize algorithms during the 12-month contract term. This achievement underscores BrainChip's role in delivering innovative, power-efficient AI solutions for size, weight, and power-constrained platforms in government and commercial markets.
