Blue Star Helium Reports Strong Initial Results from Jackson 31 Well

Blue Star Helium Limited (ASX: BNL) has reported encouraging initial results from the Jackson 31 SENW 3054 development well at its Galactica helium project in Las Animas County, Colorado. The well exhibited strong natural flow during drilling and at total depth, with flow rates increasing to 250 Mcfd. Projected stabilized rates are estimated between 300-400 Mscfd, with a maximum potential of 500 Mscfd. Early helium concentration samples indicate up to 2.2% (air corrected), supporting the reservoir's expectations of 2.3% to 2.5% helium content.

Reservoir permeability in the Lyons formation at Jackson 31 is significantly higher than that of the adjacent State 16 well, which had a natural flow rate of 150 Mscfd. Calculated permeabilities across discovery wells range from 300 to 750 mD, supporting initial flow rates of 334 to 780 Mscfd at six psi wellhead pressure. Development planning includes vacuum compression optimization to enhance production. The results reinforce confidence in the reservoir's potential and align with nearby commercial helium developments in the region.
