Bega Cheese Limited appointed Pete Findlay as CEO

Bega Cheese Limited (ASX: BGA) informed the market that it had appointed Pete Findlay as the new CEO of the company, followed by an earlier announcement in which the company advised that CEO Paul van Heerwaarden had indicated that he would resign as Chief Executive Officer in the near-term. Now both the company and Paul have decided that Paul will step down from his position today, 3 February 2023, with Pete Findlay being appointed as Chief Executive Officer immediately.

Pete Findlay started working with the company in 2019 as CFO and was appointed Chief Operating Officer in June 2022, where he has been accountable for the branded business segment. He has more than 25 years of experience in professional services, senior finance, and operational roles in private and publicly owned businesses. Pete has worked in numerous senior CFO roles in various manufacturing, retail, information technology, and distribution industries.
