Bega Cheese (ASX: BGA) reports a fall in FY22 profit

ASX-listed company Bega Cheese Limited (ASX: BGA) has reported a 45% increase in its FY22 revenue (period ended 30 June 2022).

Details from the company’s FY22 results include:

  • Statutory profit after tax for FY22 decreased 69.0% to AU$24.2 million.
  • Consolidated net debt of AU$265 million as of 30 June 2022, compared to AU$325 million in the prior corresponding period (PCP), a reduction of AU$60 million.
  • Final fully franked dividend of 5.5 cents per share (CPS) for FY2022 announced.
  • Bega is expected to pay a final dividend on 23 September 2022
  • FY22 EBITDA falls 19% at AU$149.9million
  • Statutory EBIT declines 58% for FY2022
  • In FY2022, EPS fell 73% at 8.0 cents per share on pcp.

The share price of Bega Cheese Limited was spotted trading 6.417% higher at AU$3.980 per share on ASX at 10:26 AM AEST today.
