Battery Age Minerals Secures $1.5 million to Advance El Aguila Project

Battery Age Minerals Ltd (ASX: BM8) has successfully raised AU$1.5 million through a placement to professional and sophisticated investors. The funds will support the development of its recently acquired El Aguila Project, covering exploration, project acquisition costs, and working capital. The placement, priced at AU$0.082 per share, represents a 15.46% discount to the last closing price and a 17.35% discount to the 15-day volume-weighted average price. Battery Age’s directors and management have subscribed for AU$210,000, subject to shareholder approval. Euroz Hartleys Limited acted as the sole lead manager and bookrunner for the placement. Trading for the new shares is set to commence on February 12, with a shareholder meeting planned for late March to approve director participation. CEO Nigel Broomham expressed confidence in leveraging the funds to maximize El Aguila’s potential in collaboration with Fredonia Mining Inc.
