Battery Age Minerals Ltd (ASX: BM8) has secured commitments for a capital raise totalling approximately AU$6.4 million. Notably, AU$5.4 million (equivalent to C$4.7 million) will be raised through "flow-through shares" provisions in Canadian tax law, priced at AU$0.46 per share, representing an 11% premium over the last closing price. The funding attracted substantial interest from institutional and sophisticated investors, resulting in an additional AU$1.0 million from an institutional placement at AU$0.34 per share.
Funds enhance extensive exploration at Falcon Lake's Lithium Project. This includes step-out drilling to expand on promising assay results, further drilling at new targets identified through fieldwork, and systematic exploration. Importantly, the use of flow-through provisions will help minimize capital dilution. This investment positions Battery Age Minerals Ltd to effectively advance its lithium exploration and development endeavours.
