Bastion Minerals Limited (ASX: BMO) has secured two significant projects in Western Australia, enhancing its battery metals portfolio. The first acquisition involves Critical Minerals Morrissey Pty Ltd (CMM), giving Bastion ownership of the Morrissey Lithium Project in the Gascoyne region. Positioned strategically within the "Volta Corridor," the project is prospective for lithium, Rare Earth Elements (REE), and other associated elements. The Gascoyne Region displays extensive exploration for lithium-bearing pegmatites.
The second acquisition comprises tenement EL 16/607 (SM Tenement) from Syndicate Minerals Pty Ltd, part of the Split Rock Dam project in Mt Ida. This 38.54km2 project is prospective for lithium and gold, adjacent to recent major transactions in the area. Bastion Minerals is funding these acquisitions, due diligence, and exploration through a AUD$2,000,000 capital raise. The total cost of both acquisitions is AUD$1,000,000, satisfied by issuing 71,428,571 fully paid ordinary shares and a 1.5% net smelter royalty to the vendors.
