Pivotal Metals Limited (ASX: PVT) announced the discovery of substantial conductive anomalies and an extensive mineral host horizon within the Belleterre Angliers Greenstone Belt (BAGB) in Quebec, Canada, through magnetotelluric (MT) survey results. The survey identified promising conductive targets beneath the previously discovered shallow Midrim and Alotta sites, suggesting the presence of significant sulphide mineralization.
Historical drilling results at these locations revealed high concentrations of nickel, copper, and PGMs, underlining the area's rich mineral potential. The identified mafic intrusive contact, mapped across the entire survey area, aligns with geological models indicating a vast magmatic system likely responsible for the high-grade surface deposits. With only a small fraction explored, especially at depth, Pivotal Metals aims to prioritize and drill test these anomalies, capitalizing on the unexplored potential across its expansive BAGB project territory.
