AZL announces positive Prairie Lithium Project PFS in Saskatchewan, Canada

Arizona Lithium Limited (ASX: AZL) reports positive results from the Preliminary Feasibility Study (PFS) for its Prairie Lithium Project in Saskatchewan, Canada. Led by Samuel Engineering, the study projects Phase One production of 6,000 tonnes per annum (tpa) of Lithium Carbonate Equivalent (LCE). With average annual operating costs of US$2,819/t, the Prairie Project stands among the lowest-cost global ventures.

Prairie Lithium Project reports strong economics with a base case pre-tax NPV of US$448 million and IRR 23.9%. Recent resource upgrades show the 20-year commercial operating life as just 3% of the 4.5 million tonnes of LCE Indicated Resource. Initial production is slated for H1 2025, with subsequent phases aiming for 20,000-25,000tpa in Phase Two and more in Phase Three.
