Austral Gold Limited (ASX: AGD) announced that a group of armed robbers assaulted the Guanaco-Amancaya mine complex. They stole gold precipitate material equal to ~ 500 ounces of gold from AGD’s Guanaco refinery, in Taltal.
However, no person was harmed in this incident. Currently, the incident is being investigated by Chilean authorities. Now, the Company would do a thorough review to determine the way it can strengthen its security at the incident spot.
