Aurum Resources Limited (ASX: AUE) announced the successful completion of aircore drilling activities at the Ryans Find Project. Wallis Drilling utilized the Mantis 200AC rig to complete all 74 planned drill holes, reaching fresh rock or refusal, with a maximum depth of 69 meters, totalling 2,634 meters of drilling. This efficient program was concluded within a mere two weeks.
A noteworthy aspect of this achievement is the delivery of 731 composite samples to Intertek Laboratories for assaying. These samples, collected at 4-meter intervals with consideration of lithological boundaries, will undergo gold assays, while 1-meter weathered basement intersections might undergo base metals testing. The selection of drilling locations was based on soil sampling profiles for both base metals and gold, particularly targeting the north-north-westerly striking greenstones. This initiative aims to capitalize on gold sampling results that previously remained unexplored.
