Aureka secures strategic land for Irvine Project expansion.

Aureka Limited (ASX: AKA) has secured a 97-hectare land purchase surrounding its Irvine Project in Victoria’s Stawell Gold Corridor, reinforcing its long-term commitment to the site. The AU$2.2 million acquisition ensures uninterrupted exploration access, reduced costs, and future infrastructure flexibility, enhancing the company’s ability to advance one of Victoria’s largest undeveloped gold resources. The transaction, structured with delayed settlement terms, will not significantly impact Aureka’s AU$4.9 million cash balance. 

This strategic move supports ongoing diamond drilling at the Resolution lode, targeting resource expansion beyond the current 304,000-ounce JORC estimate and 280,000-420,000-ounce exploration target. Aureka continues to strengthen its presence in Victoria’s gold sector, with additional drilling at the Tandarra and St Arnaud projects. Managing Director James Gurry highlighted the purchase as a key step toward production, ensuring Aureka's exploration efforts are backed by long-term land security and operational efficiency.
