Aurum Resources Ltd (ASX: AUE) announced the results of 74 aircore reconnaissance holes, revealing non-anomalous gold findings but notable anomalies in nickel (Ni) and silver (Ag). Among the findings were anomalous nickel at 0.35% Ni over 4m from 16m depth in hole 23RFAC047, and elevated silver at 13.9ppm Ag over 4m from 16m in 23RFAC049 and 10.4ppm Ag over 4m from 8m in 23RFAC007. The assessment, incorporating historical data and lithological intersections, is ongoing. Sampling, comprising 731 composites at 4m intervals, was assayed for gold and selected base metals. The drilling, strategically placed based on profile soil sampling, targeted greenstones with low-level gold in soils. The holes were aligned with the north-north-westerly striking greenstones and were perpendicular to the geological strike, revealing significant geological trends. The results provide valuable insights for further exploration in the area.
