Ardea Resources Completes Strategic Drilling at Kalgoorlie Nickel Project

Ardea Resources Limited (ASX: ARL) has successfully completed an infill drilling program at its Big Four and Scotia Dam nickel-cobalt deposits, part of the Kalgoorlie Nickel Project (KNP) – Goongarrie Hub in Western Australia. This initiative enhances geological confidence for the project's initial five years of production and supports potential upgrades in resource classification and ore reserves. High-grade results, including intercepts like 32m at 1.17% Ni, reaffirm the continuity and quality of the mineralisation. Managed by Kalgoorlie Nickel Pty Ltd, a subsidiary of Ardea, the drilling supports the ongoing Definitive Feasibility Study (DFS), funded by partners Sumitomo Metal Mining and Mitsubishi Corporation. With 854Mt of resources grading 0.71% Ni and 0.045% Co, KNP represents Australia's largest nickel-cobalt deposit. The program also aids in optimizing mining and processing schedules, ensuring robust operational planning for early project phases and further exploration into critical minerals across the Eastern Goldfields.
