AR3 Confirms Uranium Mineralization at Overland Project

Feb 13, 2025

Australian Rare Earths Limited (AR3) has confirmed uranium mineralization at its Overland Project through chemical assays from its 2024 drilling program. The first 10 drill holes validated the company's geological model, showing uranium concentrations up to 20 times above background levels, particularly in OV002. The mineralization is present in permeable sediments, indicating the potential for cost-effective in-situ recovery (ISR) mining.

Initial results align with down-hole gamma responses and field-based XRF measurements, reinforcing confidence in the project’s potential. Although the assays show low-grade uranium, they suggest favourable conditions for the formation of sedimentary-hosted uranium deposits. The findings highlight the presence of key geological factors such as uranium source rock, migration pathways, and reduction zones.

Additional assays from the ongoing drilling campaign, covering a 4,000 km² exploration area, are expected in early 2025. AR3 remains focused on systematic exploration to refine target areas for further drilling and potential resource development.
