AML3D Partners with Curtin University to Advance Additive Manufacturing

On 23 June 2023, AML3D Limited (ASX: AL3) announced the sale of an enterprise-level ARCEMY® Wire Additive Manufacturing metal 3D printing system to Curtin University. Valued at AU$1 million, the sale is in line with AML3D's strategy to increase revenue from ARCEMY system sales. The purchase by Curtin University aims to enhance its additive manufacturing teaching and research capabilities, particularly in its new Additive Manufacturing Microfactory Facility.

The sale agreement includes three years of software licensing and technical support. AML3D will also utilize the ARCEMY system at Curtin as a demonstration facility for potential customers. The collaboration between AML3D and Curtin extends beyond the sale, as the two organizations will partner on a research program focused on new alloys and materials science, specifically catering to the needs of defense customers.
