AML3D Limited Secures New US Defense Contract to Broaden Alloy Testing Program

AML3D Limited (ASX: AL3) is embarking on a significant endeavour to bolster its contributions to the US Navy's submarine program by securing a new contract focused on characterizing and testing Copper-Nickel (CuNi) alloys through 3D printing technology. This contract, valued at approximately AU$0.35 million (US$0.23 million), has been inked with BlueForge Alliance, a non-profit organization dedicated to bolstering the US Navy's Submarine Industrial Base by accelerating the adoption of cutting-edge technology. The CuNi alloy testing initiative runs concurrently with the extension of a Nickel-Aluminum-Bronze (NAB) alloy testing program for the US Department of Defense. Success in the CuNi alloy testing program could significantly expand the spectrum of components AML3D can manufacture for the US Navy's submarine program.

With a total of AU$5.1 million in US Defense contracts secured in the current calendar year, including AU$4.0 million in BlueForge Alliance sales, AML3D is poised to make substantial contributions to advancing the capabilities and sustainability of the US Navy's Submarine Industrial Base.
