Althea Group Holdings Limited (ASX: AGH), a global leader in cannabis-based medicines and recreational cannabis products, has secured binding commitments for AU$2.0 million through a Loan Notes Placement. The placement involves issuing 2.0 million unsecured Loan Notes at AU$1.00 each, with potential conversion into 66.67 million shares at AU$0.03 per share, subject to shareholder approval. The funding will support the expansion of Peak Processing Solutions’ Canadian operations, including supply chain optimization at its Ontario manufacturing facility. Key initiatives include inventory increases, wastewater connection, beverage unit capacity expansion, automation, and onboarding a new vape cart customer.

Taurus Capital Group Pty Ltd managed the placement, receiving a 6% fee and 25 million unlisted options exercisable at AU$0.04 until February 2027, pending shareholder approval. AGH CEO Joshua Fegan emphasized the funding's role in solidifying AGH’s leadership in the high-growth cannabis beverage market and reinforcing its operational efficiency in Canada.
