Alderan Resources Limited: Drilling to Commence at Alderan’s New Years Copper Prospect.

Alderan Resources Limited (ASX: AL8) announced that drilling preparations at the New Year copper prospect in the Cactus copper-gold district in Utah, USA, will kick off on Tuesday, September 3rd. After the site preparation is completed, drilling will begin the following week, on Monday, September 9th.

Alderan has devised a two-stage drilling program at New Year's. Stage 1 will consist of a three-hole program to verify copper mineralization intersected in historical holes drilled in 1964 and 2002. The Stage 2 program, contingent upon the results of Stage 1, will focus on extending the mineralization and testing geophysical targets at New Year's. Following archaeological inspections of the proposed drill sites during the initial drilling program, Stage 2 will require permitting.
