Alcidion Group Limited (ASX: ALC) has announced a contract extension with South Tees Hospital NHS Foundation Trust for the continued use of its Miya Precision Electronic Patient Record (EPR) platform and Better OPENeP electronic prescribing and medicines administration (ePMA). Originally signed in November 2020 with an initial extension in December 2020, this new extension adds eight more years to the contract, making the total duration 10 years until 2033.
The minimum contract value for this period is AU$23.3 million, with AU$2.7 million allocated to the remaining two years of the existing contract. Additional options within the contract, such as PAS, Emergency Department, and Virtual Care modules, could potentially increase the contract value by AU$9.3 million (£4.9 million). The extension also includes options for a further 5-year extension to 2038, validating the value proposition of Alcidion's Miya Precision EPR solution in the NHS EPR market.
