Althea Group Holdings Limited (ASX: AGH) has secured AU$4.0 million in funding through a Share Placement and Loan Notes Placement to accelerate its THC beverage expansion in North America. The capital raise includes 1.5 million unsecured loan notes at AU$1.00 each (AU$1.5 million total) and 125.0 million ordinary shares at AU$0.02 each (AU$2.5 million total), with 111.0 million shares subject to shareholder approval. The funds will enhance AGH’s North American infrastructure, scale Peak USA’s THC beverage production, and strengthen working capital across Althea and Peak.
The investment will facilitate expanded distribution, increased production capacity by 3 million cans, and automation of tax stamp applications. Taurus Capital Group acted as Lead Manager, receiving a 6% fee and 25.0 million unlisted options. AGH Managing Director Joshua Fegan emphasized the company’s strong market position and rapid expansion plans in Canada and the U.S.
