Avenira Limited (ASX: AEV) has unveiled the results of its feasibility study for the Direct Shipping Project (DSO Project), backed by an updated Wonarah Mineral Resource Estimate at a 27% P2O5 cutoff grade. The study highlights the project's solid economic viability, characterized by minimal capital investment and attractive operating margins, especially given the current global phosphate price climate.
This favourable scenario ensures a swift 14-month payback period and serves as a financial foundation for early-stage cash flows. The DSO Project, structured as a short-term endeavour to capitalize on favourable global phosphate prices, may extend its mining schedule based on sustained market demand. Key features include a substantial Mineral Resource Estimate of 66Mt at 30% P2O5, enabling the production of 836kt of saleable phosphate product over a 23-month period. Total free cash flows of AU$27.3 million are anticipated, supporting Avenira's downstream ventures.
