ABS updates on Improved estimates of the annual national accounts

Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS)  has released annual estimates of key economic measures, together with GDP, consumption, income, capital stock, investment, productivity, & balance sheets.

  • The Australian economy grew 3.6% in chain volume terms in 2021-2022.
  • Labour productivity increased  1.1%.
  • The household saving ratio decreased to 13%.
  • National net worth rose AU$2.3 trillion to AU$17.6 trillion.
