• Karoon Energy Limited’s shares dropped today after the junior oil and gas producer downgraded its production guidance.
• Data#3 Limited fell after changes to its partnership with Microsoft in Australia were announced. The company announced that the changes would “reduce the incentives earned… on its Microsoft Enterprise Agreements”.
• Oil futures slipped from the highest levels in several weeks on weakness in consumer spending in China, the world's largest oil importer, and as investors paused buying ahead of the U.S. Federal Reserve's interest rate decision.
• The Dow has closed down by 0.25%, the S&P 500 closed up by 0.38%, and the NASDAQ ended higher by 1.38%.
• Hang Seng is down by 0.88%, and FTSE 100 is down by 0.46%.
