The completion of the Stage 1 extraction and injection test campaign marks a crucial achievement, affirming the viability of Lake's high purity battery-grade lithium carbonate production at the Kachi Project. The tests validated favorable reservoir hydraulic properties, a pivotal step in optimizing the future wellfield.

Lake CEO David Dickson emphasized the significance of the milestone, stating, "The extraction and injection testing confirms highly favorable reservoir hydraulic properties and allows us to optimize the future wellfield. The tests represent a significant milestone for the Project, as they provide important data and higher confidence for our modeling, which is essential for the completion of our DFS for Phase 1."

The successful test campaign involved extracting and injecting a total of 33 million liters of brine into the reservoir. Brine chemistry samples displayed an improved lithium concentration, underscoring the project's potential for high-yield, production-scale extraction wells.

The positive results of these tests not only pave the way for the design of scaled-up production and injection wells but also enhance Lake's capability to meet the demand for sustainable lithium supply. As partners, offtakers, and buyers increasingly prioritize sustainable sources, Lake's successful test campaign positions the company at the forefront of meeting this critical need.

Lake Resources has consistently demonstrated its commitment to growth and innovation. The Kachi Project has experienced a series of mineral resource estimate upgrades, further underlining its potential. The successful completion of the extraction and injection tests bolsters Lake's position as a key player in the clean lithium sector.

With this milestone achieved, Lake Resources is now poised to proceed with the detailed wellfield and injection design in support of the DFS. The positive trajectory of Lake's Kachi Project reinforces its standing as a pioneering force in the lithium market and sets the stage for continued growth and innovation.

As Lake Resources continues to drive advancements in sustainable lithium production, investors and stakeholders are closely watching its journey, anticipating further positive developments that could reshape the clean energy landscape.
